ABD’nin önemli yayıncılık dergilerinden Publishers Weekly, 2026 yılının en iyi kitaplarını belirledi. Kurgu, kurgu dışı, şiir, polisiye, romantizm, bilimkurgu ve çocuk edebiyatı gibi farklı kategorileri kapsayan seçkide toplam 150 kitap yer aldı.

Derginin editörleri tarafından hazırlanan listede, yılın öne çıkan 10 kitabının yanı sıra farklı edebiyat türlerinden eserler de değerlendirildi. Seçkinin kapak yazarı ve öne çıkan isimlerinden biri, Transcription adlı romanıyla Ben Lerner oldu. Derginin değerlendirmesinde Lerner’ın romanı, teknoloji, sanat, bilinç ve insan ilişkileri üzerine güncel tartışmaları ele alan dikkat çekici bir eser olarak nitelendirildi.
Listenin kurgu kategorisinde Rachel Cusk’ın Life of M adlı romanı, Anjet Daanje’nin The Song of Stork and Dromedary adlı eseri ve Nijeryalı yazar ’Pemi Aguda’nın One Leg on Earth adlı romanı öne çıktı.
Seçkide yer alan diğer eserler arasında Chang-rae Lee’nin A Tender Age, Jayne Anne Phillips’in Small Town Girls: A Writer’s Memoir ve Joseph Osmundson’ın Spawning Season: An Experiment in Queer Parenthood adlı kitapları da bulunuyor.
